MISSION 20/20! The Challenge – $250,000 to purchase equipment for the Expansion by year-end 2020!
Our Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute, which RMLEI Foundation was instrumental in getting off the ground, currently has 3½ floors equipped and occupied.
Within that area, the Institute has offered service to upward of 150,000 patients per year, plus the ongoing research in a number of areas dedicated to improving and even restoring sight.
Now, the Institute is ready to build out the second half of the fourth floor and is financially in position to do exactly that. This expansion, once equipped, will allow the medical staff the room to help many, many additional patience with visual needs.
Our “Mission” is similar to what the Foundation’s contributions have been in the past, which is to provide funding to equip examination rooms. Mission 20/20! goal is to supply enough funding for 5 exam rooms at a cost of $50,000 each for a total contribution of $250,000 by year-end 2020.
This is a lofty goal but achievable with the help of the Colorado and Wyoming Lions!
Your Foundation is not expecting the Lions Clubs of the two states to contribute the funds needed to reach our goal. Rather we ask for your help identifying individuals and corporations that have an interest in philanthropy and the interest to help thousands of visually impaired people.
The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute Foundation thanks you in advance for your help and continued support of this most important Institute and our Mission.
